Crowder's College Truck Driving programs are accredited by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education, and the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities.

In the four week Crowder College Truck Driving program students accumulate a minimum of 200 hours in classroom and driving time. In all, students spend 40 hours in the classroom, 160 hours on the driving range and on the road. Road and Range hours are divided between time observing and time behind the wheel. The Truck Driver Training Program will provide entry level knowledge and the necessary skills to operate a tractor and trailer safely, efficiently, and economically. Your training will consist of four weeks on campus followed by continued on the job training with the trucking company of your choice.

Crowder College Truck Driving program personnel and industry leaders have established standards for student’s evaluation of skills and knowledge. Students will be given final evaluations on each training subject, with emphases being put on the road test and backing skills. Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling of units, pre-trip inspections, log book procedures, and DOT rules and regulations must be mastered, in order to successfully complete the program and receive certification. A student not meeting minimum program standards will not graduate.
